After watching arrows scroll up a screen for about an hour or so, and looking at a static page, it seems like everything is moving downwards.

I love Touhou and it's music, but srsly ZUN, WHY THE FUCK ARE THERE STEEL DRUMS UP THE ASS EVERYWHERE?

It's like he did it for the sole purpose of letting stepchart makers stick more arrows in all over the place

When I think of people who like Touhou music, I think of fat, neckbearded "otaku" who obviously can appreciate the fine Japanese culture more than I do and jizz themselves over the same thing over and over again. Same thing with people who like Touhou and Zun.

It is easily the most convenient as easiest one.

I'm going to second this, just because in the 6th game (embodiment of the scarlet devil) you can't see the hitbox when focused and stuff and so if you're not used to japanese shmups it can kind of throw you off because you won't know where you can get hit and where you can't and stuff
