I'm sorry to ask this noob question, but I did not find my answer in the read me or google? I have some wiiware and V/C games on my sd card. Been playing them through the wii menu sd card icon. Can I play them with my usb loader gx using the sd card icon? When I click it it just goes back to the loader menu? any help would be appreciated?

Actually you can; but not easily. But once you get this its better because you can free a lot of space and have TONS of wiiware games. its called Triiforce iso forwarder. But the tricky part is the fact that you have to have 2 partition one fat32 and one WBFS and run with cios rev17 if you have that it will work.
