EU (Mario Kart Version 4.1), I thought it was compatible for both versions.

you have to stary the server on your computer to dump the save via LAN, but if you speak about launching saviine, you can use homebrew launcher

after completing the game (defeating ganondorf) you can start the game again in a harder mode.

i normally would mean an hero mode in one save slot and normal mode in another with EVERYTHING completed. but at this rate, even just the story of normal mode completed would be fine
