Loadiine nightly will NOT harm your Wii U ;)
There is no risk to use one nightly.

And if there is a problem, just go back to your previous version ;)
I'm not afraid of viruses or any of that nonsense, I just dont want to have compatibility issues when playing games and later get blamed that I'm not sticking to what everyone else uses which I assume would be the official build. I know no software is ever perfect, I just like sticking with what works.

Ok.

Then, advice : if your "stable" version does not work correctly, try the last nightly.
If it corrects the problem, then your' ok, if not, you can still be able to use the old one.

I'm not aware of broken compatibilities since 0.2 stable.

you can look at commits history (aka changelog) here : https://github.com/dimok789/loadiine_gx2/commits/master

If you are on 5.5.x, you have to use a nightly build, as the latest stable won't even work. There isn't anything wrong with nightlies, you just have to expect that there could possibly be problems.

Had problems with some problematic games to begin with but after switching to latest nightlies last week they all work 100% of the time and all home hosted, always boots first time on 5.5.1

Ironically, using the stable is going to reduce compatiblity because it is ancient. Use the nightly.

What server are you using? I'm using xampp and I don't get anywhere near 100% launch with loadiine nightly. I do on hbl tho. 5.5.1

Alright, I got a ddd version of my own XCX its like 20 gb and it wont run D: same thing is with Watch Dogs, any help?
You could try the one in my self hosting package. It's working on all firmwares right now.

I am using Xampp and the package in the first post here https://gbatemp.net/threads/5-5-1-5...ng-package-everything-in-one-zip-file.424679/

I use it on the internal network and have honestly never had a single fail

LOL that's my package. Loadiine works everytime?

every single time, honestly mate.... I don't go through the HBL, i just click striaght to Loadiine, it has never crashed once :)

now I have probably jinxed myself and will be back moaning my luck lool

but seriously, not one single fail since I switched to self hosting

I cannot get Smash Bros DLC to work for the life of me. I have all DLC bought and the game, did a full game dump using the DDD Dumper GUI.exe
It creates the aoc0005000c10144f00 folder but all it has is content_dummy.txt in it I'm sure that has to be the reason why. Yes I'm using the latest 1.16 update and the DLC folder is in the game folder.

If you bought the game and have the dlc, what is the problem? I'm not sure I understand why you are using loadiine gx2 if you own the game. But I'm guessing your problem has to do with some kind problem with decryption.

well in my case the problem is that I cannot update my physical copy of the game without updating my firmware and cannot do any modding. So I'm stuck having to use loadline with dumped updates. If my purchased game was updated then yea I wouldn't use loadline for it all. But eitherway shouldn't matter if loadline is suppose to support DLC. My guess is that it keeps dumping the DLC incorrectly considering theres literally nothing but txt files in the dlc folder

Not sure what you mean by decryption everything is dumped automatically by the dump GUI. It only lacks the meta folder, but the updates provide that
If course you can update a game without updating your firmware. That's what WUP Installer does for you. And you can get your dlc using NNU patcher
