Hi guys,

Im done with Rednan and WiiU games load from External HDD.
My question is about Wii games through vWii.

As you know, the External HDD stays exclusively for WiiU games and cannot be used to add Wii/GC games to load from vWii.

I want to know if its possible to load games from de SD card (the same that i have with every app used for homebrew).

i dont want to be switching externals HDD (1 for wii u and 1 for wii/gc games).

Sorry about my poor english i hope you can understand.

Thank you guys

I think some usb loaders do actually support loading from SD, but I don't know if there are some limitations like lower compatiblity or what...

gamecube games : yes, nintendont works with SD too.
Wii games : only with Wiiflow and CFGLoader.

Yes, i've tried yesterday with nintendont there was no problems, but CFG Loader doesnt have and option to search wii games on sd card and wii flow shows games on sd card but when i try to load one the system goes back to home screen and nothing happened.

i was trying yesterday but i cannot load any wii game from sd card (GC with nintendont works great)

you have to install custom IOS to load Wii games from another location than Disc drive.
follow the correct tutorial, don't try a Wii tutorial on vWii ! look specifically for a vWii tutorial (we have one in the WiiU hacking section, a stickied topic, start following it at "cIOS install" chapter)

if you follow the guide, it's fine.
just don't try things not explained, don't assume and you'll be fine.

just one thing, if you want to play from SD, choose "d2x v10 beta52 for vWii" (not the one suggested by the tutorial, beta53 does not work with SD)
if you already have beta53 installed, just re-install beta52, it will overwrite it.

perfect example of: last =/= better.

Thank you Cyan, i will try today.

I will notify you about the process.

Best regards from Chile

Do you have a link to the guide you used, I'd really like to be able to run Wii games from my new 128GB SD card.
