Gaming Little problem

I wanted to play NSMBW.
It says that I need to update my Wii first for that, should I update my Wii? Is this suppose to happend?

if its an original disc and ur dont care about homebrew then sure update
if not install priiloader and disable disc updates and play =]

Or you may try running it on GeckoOS or Backup Launcher.
