There you go. I remember having a look at it a while back and I don't think I had to.

I think some versions make you some don't,

I never really used DSlinux.

Yes, it's DSLinux. Also, of the builds currently available from the download page, only the WMB version and DSGBA version require login. The DLDI build, which is recommended for most normal usage, has auto-login.

I highly suggest you head over to the DSLinux Wiki, as it provides much more info on how to use DSLinux and the various applications available for it (including 3 web browsers)
