you know, people give nintendo a lot of flack for the virtual boy, or the power glove, but there were far worse pointless peripherals released by third partys. You would think anyone who was serious about GPS would have simply bought a Garmin GPS unit from radio shack. Or used the GPS on their cell phone.

well on that time cellphones with GPS wasn't that common, right? xD I heard that disney world planned an download&play feature that let the people use the DS as a park map XD (ot sure about localization or just map) but yeah there are some crazy lincensed-or-not accessories xD
