Lent

Gah, this is embarassing...

So today is Lent. Last night I thought that today would be the 16th and not the 17th (Lent) so this morning, I just started my day normally, eating Oreos for breakfast, hesitated to cook lunch (thought it would be a good idea to have fish for lunch) and played some Band Hero on Wii. I looked at my clock and saw "17/02"...oh noez it's Lent (not that it's a bad thing, I thought Lent will be tomorrow)

So I planned to give up the following for Lent. Ones in bold are the ones that I have done without knowing that today is Lent:

• Guitar Hero
• Xbox 360, Wii and DS
• pr0ns
• Toning down usage of computer e.g. instead of using the computer for 10 hours a day, I will cut down to 5.

So I've done them today...is it too late for me to give them up?

Another question is: are we allowed to have chocolates for today (Ash Wednesday) and Friday?

A big facepalm to myself...

I gave up those things because I also promised myself to lessen those things for my New Year's Resolution but it turned out to be an epic fail...

R2DJ, do you have CoD4 for PC? For some reason, I feel have I seen you in the server I play on...

On topic: I gave up swearing [or trashtalking to the very least] and shooting games [this includes CoD4, Halo 3, ODST]. It's pretty hard actually, when I swear, it is more of a way to catch my friend's attention, but it eventually became a habit so I am trying not to swear.

For shooting games, I play CoD every single day. Now I have to stop .__.
