So I found this list of data mined switch games about a week ago, and, at the time I thought that it was obvious that it was fake. However, when I first looked at it I remember seeing that "Lego the Incredibles" was on the list. This game was just announced a couple hours ago, so the list was correct. I guess my question is, is this list actually real?

Edit: I know you can edit imgur posts, but the Lego Incredibles game was on the list at least a few days before it's announcement

Never would Nintendo, a Japanese company, release Pokemon games (which are targeted at kids) titled Chemical and Nuclear. The list is 339 games long, there's bound to be some lucky strikes. The list is most probably fake.

You know what? I'm gonna play devil's advocate for this one. I might end up looking stupid in the end, but I'm going to say that every single game here is a WIP title

KH3? Yeaaaaaaaaah, I don't know about THAT one. Like, I'd be more willing to believe Chemical and Nuclear. Sure, the engine has already been ported, but you'd have to realllllly bruise some knuckles to get that on the Switch.

Lol - data mined from where, exactly? And then there's a screenshot of 3XXX values, as if that were to indicate this guy "hacked" his way into anything.

If you have a game that's about to receive some sort of update or something, THEN you can data mine the code to find values of unlocked DLC or extra unlock-able content - because the game is simply blocking the player from accessing that content.

To "data mine" unannounced games, though? It doesn't really make sense. And it certainly wouldn't be a list of ordered values (3,000 - 3,300 or w/e) that just correspond to some titles sitting on a public server somewhere.

This "leak" indicates somebody trying to garner attention who has no real idea how 'data mining' actually works.
