Laytons a beast though hes jumped from ridiculosly tall buildings had epic sword battles with (supposedly) no prior training, and even jumped to a huge moving tank/deathcannon using a car while having music that just isn't as epic as Wright's. Wright just epicly points at people and shouts accusations while playing some of the most amazing, epic music on Earth.

Wright also has a spirit medium on his side and what does Layton have? A nine year old.
