Alright so im getting my taxes back soon and im looking to update my computer and my budget is prolly around 1000.Ive heard if i build my own pc i can get a really great one for that price but idk much about building one so bad call maybe? Thanks

Whatever you buy, be careful regarding Nvidia Graphics currently and their Optimus Technology. They've got some serious issues.

Well im not looking for alot i was thinking more of a laptop that can do what i want which is download files,basic internet use and not lag on me when i have mult programs open so this one would do all that and wont cost me 1k either but its ref on newegg good deal?

Looks okay man. With that budget having a discrete GPU and possibly an i3/i5/i7 processor would probably help with more advanced multi-tasking, but it's totally your call. Thing is something running an intel IGP isn't probably running great IGP. If you decide to go w/ a laptop w/ IGP definitely look into what generation it is so you know what to expect.
