Hacking LAN Adapter with CFG USB Loader?

I am attempting to use the CFG USB Loader and it can not connect to the network using a USB LAN adapter from Nintendo. Any ideas to fix this?

Yes, far as I can tell. It's got the Wiib and Wii U logos in the settings and it's the only connection.

Guess I should try setting up Wi-Fi exclusively for the vWii?

I use the usb lan adapter and it works on Wii U mode and Vwii mode, it also works on the homebrew channel and homebrew, I think the vwii mode only detects it when it's connected in one of the usbs on the back
