ROM Hack Lameboy Save Problem

Hello, I use Lameboy 0.11 and I cannot save in Pokémon Crystal through the game (Just appears new game and options when I reset), although save states are working fine.

Is it normal? I've tried it in a couple of roms and the problem persists.

I haven't used lameboy in awhile, don't you have to save in game and then save using the emu? I'm not sure but try that
