Rockstar has announced that LA Noire will be coming to PC! This decission is quite rare, since PC-gamers didn't got to play Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar promisses that LA Noire for the PC will have beter graphics, 3D and controller support!

This port isn't made by Team Bondi, the original creators, but by Rockstar Leeds. LA Noire for the PC will hit the shelves and digital platforms this fall!

This is from my dutch source and is translated by me

then again im sure that many title updates will fix the obvious bugs that will be present at release.

(glad i didn't bother FULLY playing this on console, better experience with PC i suppose)

I haven't had a chance to play this anyways.

Of course its going to be a port, the game was released on consoles, im just worried about it running well on my pc, since GTA 4 still runs like crap on a my amazing PC.

Ah, I'm not shocked by this. I still need to get this for PS3 though. I'll play this when my energy comes back.

I'd rather have RDR than this.

But hey at least we'll have a new benchmark software

PC owners have enough point and click style games.

This didn't gel well with me, its ok but I've played better. Much rather have RDR+Undead Nightmare double pack.

For those interested in this I just hope they do a better job then the PC version of GTA4.

It runs fine on my piece of shit PC (Old 2.2 ghz Core Duo, 8800GT, only 2 gig of ram). And I know you're not talking bull cause it runs like shit on my decent machine too. But from what I know of Rockstar Leeds they are probably better suited to doing this well than Rockstar Toronto.

What an era we live in now....PC something that can't be surpassed by Consoles in terms of power gets only ports?? And that too lame ports? This gen is just messed up.

L.A. Noire on PC - Ok good to hear, but I bet my cards that it will suck ass, every company is too lazy to port the games properly, no hope here from my side.

I'll definitely be purchasing it.

I've been wanting to play this but I don't own a PS3 or 360.

I hope its more optimized, im still getting it for pc tho.

I've played RdR once before at a friends house, and I kinda liked it (Too much of a tightwad to spend any money right now, coupled with tuition and college).

I've never played LA Noire before, but it seems pretty popular at my work. I guess a PC port wouldn't hurt, perhaps if it were done by valve or something. I dunno.

I played though it and I can say that this game is an enrichment for every platform, especially for people who like shows like Columbo or Monk... But everyone who expects a game similar to GTA or RD will be massively disappointed over the linearity of the game and over the fact, that the city gives you next to nothing to do aside of you assignments...

Also imo the game is a waaaaaaaay to forgiving but at the same time you`ll get a good sense of accomplishment when you do good, even though you don`t change any outcome! It would have been better if there would have been graver penalization when you do wrong!

Sweet, another free game......

But seriously, if your PC can handle it, usually those ports have better graphic, smoother framerate and customizable controls.
So I'm all for it if it happens.
Otherwise, I'll buy the WiiU version when it comes out, they'll make it worth to purchase, just like they did it with the Black Hand edition of The God Father.
If such a game comes to the WiiU a year later, expect upgraded graphic and improved controls that make use of the unique controller, plus maybe a couple of bonus missions, and at $10 cheaper.
Not worth to buy if you already played it on the xbox/ps3, but I plan to wait for it...

It all depends on how poor optimized this thing will be.

GTA4 was a disaster. I seriously hope they won't repeat the same mistake (even tho I'm not interested).
