I recently followed a tutorial for installing L4T Ubuntu on my Switch, and all went well. I did however notice that it was quite difficult to use on a touch screen - all the window controls are tiny, the on-screen keyboard doesn't include controls for Tab, Escape or arrow keys, which makes using the terminal difficult, and so on. I noticed that the DPI scaling was already as high as it would go, and while increasing the font size in the Gnome Tweaks application helped a little bit, it was still quite difficult to navigate around.
I also tried installing KDE Plasma, but found it didn't really display anything. When I connected a mouse and hovered the cursor in the top left corner, the application menu didn't draw. The shortcuts underneath seemed to be there, though, as I could get applications to run by clicking random locations on the screen.
Are there any ways to make Ubuntu easier to use on the Switch? I'd really like to be able to scale the UI up properly, and ideally emulate all keyboard keys with an on-screen keyboard. Are there any desktop managers that are recommended over the Unity default, or utilities that I could try installing/compiling/tweaking for this?
