Intro
L4T Ubuntu is a version of Linux based on nvidia's linux for tegra project. It uses a different kernel compared to previous releases which allows it to use features not yet in mainline. Such as audio, docking support and vulkan.

At first, sorry for my bad English, but I have a HWFLY v3 (no flashable) but it comes with usb conector.
I still dont try to install, bc I am afraid to broke the switch or chip using the hwfly toolbox.
Anyone knows if I can install sdloader.enc with this version of the chip? If not, it means that I have to buy a newer one, and that sucks.

Yes it's should work.
It's not necessary to update the chip (except original sx core/light).
Simply follow the guide here.

no it's written to your nand as far es I know.
But no fear it's al fine you don't have any problem whit hos/atmosphere.

Complete noob here. I have a modded OLED Switch. Is Ubuntu installable without the need to open up my Switch and flash the chip. I'd like to avoid opening up the switch. Is it as simple as moving files onto a SD Card?

Yes you don't need to open your switch.

Thanks for the response. I think I will wait until Android releases, I'm sure release is not far now that Ubuntu has released for Mariko.

Yes you are right, the Android realese is not far away.
In the meantime you can tinker whit Lakka on your Mariko if you are interested.
lakka doesn't need a separate partition either.

After you flashed original spacecraft-nx you should flash spacecraft-nx mod.

What happened when you Googled ‘spacecraft-nx’ ?

Of course you can brick your chip.

Any time you go off label and do things the manufacturer doesn’t support you are on your own. You are hacking a Switch and now hacking the chip that hacks the Switch. This is the definition of a high-risk/high-reward situation with no guarantees.

Be smart, be careful, do your best to understand what each step is doing, and follow instructions.

I did try flashing the second stage but as you may know it doesn't "stick" when carried out on original SXLite firmware, thanks for the information.
