so there are l4d2 leaks out there, also i believe its said to be a wave 5 game

"L4D2 (Wave 5, contains SystemUpdate 8507)"

but some still believe its wave 4, i my self am uncertain and going to wait till release on this one..

M$ should just take away GOLD forever, id enjoy that much more because i actually buy marketplace items

This is one reason why i get pissed at microsoft the wave thing get too repetative
just waiting for the non banning firmware to come out for the lite on drive
so no more iXtreme 1.6 and activate iso disk

it is indeed wave 5 but it still runs as a wave 4 1.61 and 1.6 with activation disc it works fine.

works on 1.61 with out the activate iso. so im guessing you need it for 1.60

Is there any firmware that doesn't need to activate iso to run wave 4? My consoles banned so I don't care about stealth checks and stuff and I'm getting annoyed at having to put in the activate.iso disc every time.

And I wouldn't be surprised if it were wave 5. With the NXE the video for the play DVD thing should change every update.

i never liked versus mode, so that dont matter to me, split screen has been doing just fine for me, also i plan on starting to use leaf for online even though im banned

Since this has been confirmed Wave 5 can I use an activation disc on my 1.51 firmware and play this or do I need to upgrade to 1.6?

you cannot use the activate disc on 1.51 as it doesnt even know what it is

you need 1.6 or greater


btw does anyone know if wave 5 work on hitachi 1.51 fine just like wave 4?

While it's true that the single player doesn't even come close to the multi-player experience, I'm still gonna get this game because I was a huge fan of the first one. Also, my sister is visiting during Christmas break and she loved L4D, so I'm kinda downloading L4D2 for her
