Are you absolutely sure about that? Yeah. All I have to do is delete any more questions that come in and prove myself right. It's good to be the king.

Any favorite moments from the temp in the past? ....The person in question hasn't been active here in more than a year, so I can probably share this one. Two years ago I had a run-in with a newcomer who was very passionate about his pokemon. He asked sort of a silly question and got flamed for it, so by the time he and I talked he was already hot under the collar. He couldn't believe that I had closed his thread so derisively, and he also had an accusation for me.
From the private message said:
By using an inaccurate pokemon name such as "Vulpes" it implies that your opinion of the game is poor. I also noticed that your name is excessively elaborate while it does not refer to any real pokemon and could be considered a mockery of pokemon names because of it's obscurity. Furthermore, you have obviously derived the name Vulpes from Vulpix which is another characteristic of yours leading me to believe that you intend to slander pokemon. I have no respect for your title of moderator if you truly do have such a deplorable taste in games as to insult pokemon.
I fell out of my chair laughing.

Any words of wisdom to newer members? You make mistakes, the other members make mistakes, and the moderation staff also makes mistakes. Every name here is a human being sitting at a similar set of keys. (with the exception of TaeWong) Most times there isn't a valid reason to jump down someone's throat in a thread. You'll often find that by remaining calm, trying to understand the other person's point of view, and refraining from personal attacks you can usually locate some middle ground.

1) Why so awesome
2) Favourite US food? Most US food is just co-opted from some other culture....but potato chips (crisps) are all ours....and more specifically allll mine.
3) I've always dreamed of a domestic fox, but I fear that it'd be bite me massively, or even try to eat me. Do you feel that I'm correct? You would have to get a young kit, and unless you never intend to have company you'll probably want to have it's scent gland removed. Of course it will bite you a few times, but it's likely to trust you eventually. Xuphor can actually answer these questions better than I can, since I've never tried raising a fox, but she has.
4) Thoughts on [member='p1ngpong']. He's the hero that GBAtemp needs, but ....what a dick.
5) Sony or Nintendo ....I've bought consoles made by both companies. Don't really like things that both of them have done. They're pretty equal in my mind.
6) What made you come on this site in the first place? [member=budrow66] made me start looking up my own problems.
7) Will you buy a WiiU? It took me somewhere around six years before I finally got an Xbox 360, so I probably won't have a WiiU any time soon. My mom may even have one before I do. (She had a Wii before I got my Xbox, and that actually ticked me off and influenced my purchase decision)
8) Favourite song and group/singer Pink Floyd has to be my all-time favorite, though I'm also quite fond of Tool/A Perfect Circle. Favorite song is probably Time. (Turn the volume down, it starts with alarm clocks)
9) Should I really play Mass Effect? I still haven't even though I own the first 2 on Steam. Even if you never play 1, you should absolutely play 2.
10) This isn't a question. I just like to ask 10 questions at every KYT OCD much?
Favorite temper? Don't have one.
Are you satisfied with your how your life has been going so far? It could be better. But yanno, soooo lazy.
If there was one place in the world you could visit where would it be? Almost certainly Australia, but these days Croatia is a close second.
You ever get that TV? Nope. Life got in the way.
Top 5 deserted island games? Games to take onto a deserted island, or games that occur on a deserted island?

That's not too far from Louisiana, can I come visit? I guess so. Have you got boobs? Because I really miss boobs.

I'll have to come back to Dave's questions. My time is running short, and he always makes me look things up.

how many consoles do you own? Atari 2600, NES, Sega Genesis (with 32x), Playstation 1, Xbox 360.

Final question(s): If you could have any one game series be turned into a actually good TV series, which would you choose? Alan Wake, Mass Effect etc. etc.?

Yeah, I had a name change so you might not (SoulSnatcher, reddit, does that jog your memory?).

What is your earliest memory?

Any words of wisdom you'd like to share?

American Girls or Swedish girls? Ukrainian girls.
Cats or dogs? Dogs.
squirells or Birds? Squirrelly Wrath!
Did you know I misspelled Squirrels? I was painfully aware of that.
Are these questions stupid? Nah, I've seen worse.
I'm bored. With all the gaming options available in this world? Why?

Hey baby.
S'up? I've been pretty busy, lately. A farm manager's job is never done.
It's been a long time since we've had a chat so I figure I'd shoot lots of quick-fire questions! Bring it!

Do you still use that old computer you had back when we met in 2009? Not all of it, but some pieces are still in service.
How's your puppy doing? Dood, that's fucking low. He died back in April.
Still play video games? Not nearly as often as I'd like to. Too busy.
If so, what systems do you main? Xbox 360 is my main game platform these days.
shulater? (I hope you get that reference) Don't even think about starting that again.

Can I call you Captain McAwesome or would that get too annoying(eventually)? Eventually hell. I already don't like it much. Though I'll allow "Captain Mal".
What was your final choice in Mass Effect 3 and what influenced your particular decision? Honestly I've never completed it. When I heard the uproar beginning, I went and viewed the endings and was highly displeased with them. When they released the extended cut I did the same, and though it was better, I still say that my Commander and my crew deserved better.
Have you by chance played any game from the Shin Megami Tensei series or Persona? If yes, how do you feel it compares to other JRPG series? I played SMT Devil Survivor. Enjoyed it quite a bit, though it's another that I haven't finished. Hopefully I'll find the time to try Persona in the future. From all the descriptions and reviews I've come across it should probably be right up my alley. As for comparing it against all other JRPGs, I probably don't have enough experience to make such a call.
Have you ever eaten Indian food, specifically the vegetarian dishes? What's your opinion on it, if yes? At this point I have never had any Indian food. If and when I do, vegetarian options will probably not be among my first choices. *mainly carnivore*
What would you say is the most interesting aspect of your occupation? Well, these days I raise sheep. In my region we're the only sheep farm for more than 100 miles, so I'd actually never seen a sheep before. They're very interesting, and they all have distinct personalities. Some are affectionate, some are standoffish, some are shy, some are bold, some are stubborn, some are acquiescent; and they all think that their way of acting is Right. After convincing the bosses that I'm qualified for the job, I then had to convince the flock that I deserved to be one of them. (sort of like becoming a fixture here at GBAtemp) And if I were to take a different job tomorow, they'd probably grieve from losing me, now. And I find that oddly comforting.
Assuming you know of it, do you feel Oculus Rift may one day lead to VR things in the vein of say, the Matrix? If yes, how long do you think it would take, do you feel you will see it in your lifetime, or will it take much longer than that? I actually was rather unaware of O.R., but I've now looked into it a little, and it looks incredible. Not only do I see applications for it in gaming, but also for real life. It makes me wonder which will develop faster; the fully online 'virtual world', or the 'enhanced real world'. And it deeply reminds me of Tad Williams' "Otherland" books, in which virtual reality tech is commonplace. Whatever arises from this technology probably won't be so much "Matrix" as a blend of all the diffrent visions of what this new world should be. As always, we'll make the world in our image of perfection. Fortunately this time it won't require conquering it from a people that already call it home. What worries me are the people that would (and will) weaponize this technology. Unmanned drones are bad enough without having unmanned soldiers.
Final question(s): If you could have any one game series be turned into a actually good TV series, which would you choose? Alan Wake, Mass Effect etc. etc.? Alan Wake is damn good, but it would be more suited to a movie, while Mass Effect would best be made as a high-end TV series in the vein of Game of Thrones.

It's good, but not something that I would carry on my MP3 player. While it hints at being inspiring, it doesn't fully inspire or motivate me. If the singer has range, he doesn't show enough of it in this song. I'll contrast it with another game-related song that actually gets my heart beating faster, my hands clenching in readiness, and my lip curling in defiance. Call to Arms.
Excellent questions. Thank you!

how are you Quite well.
why shud i care *shrug* No clue. I really don't understand why people want to know about me in the first place.
why you no penguin Penguins are fucking cool, but they don't speak to my soul. I know the feeling of being landbound and yearning to fly, but mountains and forests are my home. The sea belongs to others.
Who are you? Just some guy lucky enough to have met you and all the others, here.
What do you mean to me? Well, if and when you have trouble here I'm one of the people who has pledged to offer any help I can, without promise of recompense. I'm not a bad guy to have in your corner.

Five Favorite games on:-

- Atari 2600: Combat
- NES: Contra

- N64: Never played it.
- Gameboy/Color: Never played it.
- GBA: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, because it's the only GBA game I ever played.

- PS2: Very little experience. Disgaea.

It's the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.

Sex? Sure, why not?
Anal Sex? Done that too.

uhh...everyone already asked good questions. So um...yeah. Hi.
Heya.

What is your most defining GBAtemp moment in your opinion? (excluding promotions etc) So far? Most likely the day that I decided iFish was worth fighting to defend. Didn't get me any points back then, but it was the right thing to do. But I think there will be more defining moments in the future.
Fondest GBAtemp memory? (excluding promotions etc again) Wouldn't have chosen those times, anyway. That would probably be the night I met Phoenix Goddess, because of a report, and we talked for days.
Most regrettable GBAtemp moment? I don't like the times when I've truly given someone my opinion of them. There are a few who weren't (or perhaps aren't) useful members in this community, and I've let them have both barrels. It's not fun. I don't enjoy it. But it's every bit as necessary as adjusting warn levels and banning spammers, if we're going to continue being a decent community.
Has GBAtemp affected your life in any way? If so how? I'm now less likely to shoot first and ask questions later. I consider more opinions than I did before taking action than I used to.
If you could go back in time and give your young self a piece of advice, what would it be? Quit chasing women as though they might help to define you. Nobody can define you apart from you. No amount of soul-searching, or changing yourself, or morphing into what someone expects you to be can ever make you truly happy. That sort of happiness has to come from within.
If you could travel back in time and witness any moment in history what would it be? The crucifixion of Jesus, if and when it happened as texts say. I want to know the truth of it. I want to see what people still kill for.
What would you say to a wanabe GBAtemp mod? Not today.
Inactive/banned member you miss the most and why? (not a staff/ex staff member) Most of my old (and now inactive) friends became staff members. I could mention Toni, or Dave, or Ace. But in those constraints, I'd likely pick Phoenix Goddess. She still comes around, but doesn't participate. And that pains me, because she has a brilliant mind and a good heart.
If you could travel to any planet or moon in the solar system which one would you choose? Saturn. I want to see the rings from a totally different and incredible perspective.
If you could meet any historical figure who would it be and why? Mark Twain. He was a brilliant mind that discarded the mainstream thought of his age. He was progressive; enough so that he could still teach people, today.
Greatest invention of all time? Soap.
If you could live in any country in the world other than the USA which one would you choose and why? Australia. I love the people of that country. They seem to have a more jovial and open-minded view of the world, whenever their politicians don't get involved.
If there was one thing you could change about the USA what would it be? I'm fucking sick and tired of the two-party political system, here. Issues are NEVER simply black & white, and we need a range of people expressing a range of thoughts at the table, rather than choosing "The lesser of two evils". Goddammit, America is Not full of evil people, so why are the only choices we're allowed to make between evil people to rule us? It makes no fucking sense and needs to change immediately.
If there was one thing you could change about yourself what would it be? My need to relax in order to remain a decent individual. It would be better if I could fight to the front line and stay there, pressing the issues that need to be expressed, without fatigue. But sadly, I'm a human too.
If you won the lottery what would be the first thing you would spend your money on? First would be to take care of my societal debts; get back on the "right" side of the law. Then the familial debts that haunt me daily. After that I'd buy a small home with a couple of acres, somewhere in the shadow of a mountain. Something that needs fixing up, and could take my mind off of the world at large.
Your house is on fire, you can only save three objects from it, what objects would you save and why? ...you do know that I trained as a firefighter, right? Chances are I'd die fighting the blaze. But sticking to the rules of the question: External hard drives (they are carried in one bag, so they count as one) *looks around his home* You know, there's really very little in this place that I couldn't live without. Most of my 'precious possessions' are actually stored elsewhere. Perhaps my favorite wakizashi.
If you could have any super hero power what would it be? Densetsu asked something similar, so I'm going to warp your question a bit. I want the ability to calm a person and get them to a point where they can listen rationally. Dealing with all their emotions is what causes barriers to block words of sense.
What is the strangest thing you have ever seen? A cat that enjoys being juggled. We called him "Shithead". He absolutely loved being tossed around.
Most frightening experience of your life? I walked out of a convenience store one day, heading to my car, when a small truck came careening down the hill, with a cab full of smoke. It crashed into a telephone pole. Instinct and training took over. I shouted to the store owner to get fire/rescue on the scene and ran to the truck. The driver's door is wedged against the bank of the ditch, and there are flames inside the cab. I yelled to the guy to get back, and kicked his window in. He's barely conscious, but I'm talking to him, keeping his attention as I grab him by the shoulders and try to haul him out of the truck. Other people arrive at the scene and help me drag him away from the crash. When we get him on level ground, well away from the burning vehicle, the fire dept arrives and I yell a few instructions, effectively handing off responsibility to them. I walk to my car, drive less than a mile home, get in my room, and nearly collapse because I'm shaking so badly. What the fuck did I just see? What the fuck was I just part of?
I found out weeks later that the guy had lived. I never got his name.

I know very well who you are.
Yeah, I had a name change so you might not (SoulSnatcher, reddit, does that jog your memory?).
Not necessary.

What is your earliest memory?
I was around five years old, We had a huge, old German Shepard we called Sarge. He was afraid of storms. A particularly bad storm blew up, and all that kept him out on the porch was a thin sheet metal and screen door. He came through it with ease, huddling underneath the coffee table.

Any words of wisdom you'd like to share? Be excellent to one another.
