That's a beautful piece of art! Very chaotic and very peaceful at the same time but so simply done. I really like how it uses dark colours but the movement makes it seem really vibrant. Does she have a website with her other works? I'd really like to see them.

Just finished re-reading Animal Farm, one of the books that changed my outlook as a kid on the way society should be run. I love 1984, but Animal Farm seems more powerful to me just because of the simplicity of the writing and the cartoonish nature of the story itself. Who is your favourite character in Animal Farm? Loved the Dark Tower series as well, such a wide range of characters and such a dark tale.

I'm going to hunt down some of the other books. Which one would you recommend most highly?

My favorite character? *chuckle* The fox that was quietly sitting back and laughing at them all from the shadows. (Doesn't have to be part of the story for it to have been there. )

Of the stories I recommended, I'd look for "Wizard's First Rule" (Goodkind) first.

I can see why that would put you off, and much respect for the attitude. An amazing amount of people would have just gone along with it instead of standing by what they believed.

I was actually shunned a bit by my family because I didn't go along with this action.
Oh well. I'm no hunter, I suppose.

Quite close. Most literally it would be "fox that leaves in the night", but since I've never had a single Latin lesson, I'm probably butchering the language.

I just wanted a name that was unique to me, and difficult to mix up with other people. Not to mention, all the good English names have been taken on most websites.
And how did you come up with it?
Good ol' English to Latin translator programs. I fiddled around with different possibilities until I found a combination that sounded appealing.

First I became fat. Then when I slimmed down I found that there was actually muscle underneath the flab. I guess you've gotta be strong enough to carry your own ass, at the very least.

When people stopped building houses around here. I never work out. The look was a product of necessity.

Of all time, or these days? All time would probably be Tool. These days, I'm liking what I've heard of 30H!3.

A pair of pliers. You grab hold of the tongue and very slowly twist it, so that the person actually twists their entire body around to keep the pain at bay.

Pornography is quite easily the best invention since the wheel. It's the whole reason the internet was founded. Oh sure people will say that it was built for ease of communication, but that's just what they do in between checking out jiggly boobs.
The best form of internet porn is probably the blooper compilation. It may not be particularly hot, but damn it's hilarious.
