Hack for Kirby Star Allies that makes the game run at 60 FPS at all time rather than only in menus. It is hitting that target framerate quite often in handheld mode when using the below OC but if you want a more stable 60FPS youll need more GPU OC. Only tested in handheld mode, but bear in mind that the framerate might become unstable if the screen is full of enemies or effects especially in the forest areas.

Code:
handheld_charging_cpu=1785
handheld_charging_gpu=768
handheld_charging_mem=1600

To install it simply copy the 01007E3006DDA000 folder to the contents folder in the atmosphere folder, since this is a cheat you will need Edizon to enable it.

It will only work with version 4.0.0 of the game.
Credits to:
  • @Gamerjin and @DaBlackDeath for help on creating the cheat.
  • @masagrator for making the actual cheat.
  • theboy181 on the yuzu Discord for the og cheat that was exclusive to the yuzu emulator and for info about it.
Enjoy.

Note: The 60FPS+LowerRes mod makes the game run at 60FPS as well as dropping resolution to 432p in handheld mode and 720p for docked mode, and as a result it doesnt need a lot of OC:
Code:
handheld_cpu=1785
handheld_charging_gpu=537
handheld_gpu=460
handheld_mem=1600
docked_cpu=1785
docked_gpu=921
To install it copy everything in the .zip file to the atmosphere directory.
Also if you are using atmosphere 0.9.X or lower make sure to rename the contents directory to titles.

Could you find the cheat for 60fps MHGU?
like it has this code for 60fps 3ds version:
[Unlock FPS]

Switch is not even using the same instruction in whole code as 3DS originally in this offset. So 3DS cheat doesn't help in anything.

We are struggling with 32-bit games for months and we will check in next weeks if cheats method can be applied to them.

Doesn't work with SXOS cheats, if this is obvious then consider this a warning for other noobs like me. :D

EDIT: It works! My bad!

It should work. You are sure you've applied OC? Game uses double buffer and without OC you will stick to 30 FPS in gameplay. You can use 30 FPS cheat to check in menu if it's really not working.

Ohh, I will look into that. Thank you for the reply.

EDIT: It works!

We don't even know what homebrew, CFW, FW, etc. You are using.

so to get to work you need to use sys clk editor to set the values in the op, open the game, open the homebrew menu in applet mode through the album, then use the latest edizon and click on the blue c icon in the middle of the screen, from there it works!

although seemingly it only works well in handheld charging, does not change fps while docked or just handheld (in handheld by itself it works but only sometimes?)

Followed your instructions and it works perfectly. Thank you!

Works on occasions in handheld charging mode, no noticeable change while docked.
Perhaps docked mode needs to be forced to run with lower settings and resolution for it to work while docked?

It'd be preferrible if there was a method without using ReverseNX. I simply can't get that to work for the life of me.

What CFW are you using?
