If you take a look at the footage on the TV's you can see that the users are having a hard time controlling the crosshair. What a shame, although I wouldn't play an FPS with anything but a controller.

Keyboard and mouse is the only way to for FPS games.

That just looks horrible. The no controller thing is going to bite them in the ass.

I imagine it's because they cut the resolution of the cameras from 640x480 to 320x200. Kinect can't capture finger movements at that resolution. It's a shame MS decided to do that...

what do you think the chances of a total homebrew ban might be now in the US since the hbc debacle
  • chrisrlink @ chrisrlink:
i feel it's too damaging but that's just me
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Wew I'll be getting my car back today. One of the heater core hoses my mechanic replaced last time blew off. So either it wasn't locked in place fully, or the barb on the heater core is bad. Gotta see if this ends up happening again now.
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@chrisrlink, 0% chance. Sony/MS/Ninty already forbid it, doesn't matter. Zero reason for the Trump admin to care about it enough to write legistlation for it as it does nothing to further the Trump admin's goals.
  • DinohScene @ DinohScene:
    steel band around it
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@DinohScene, it's one of those stupid push on and twist to lock plastic connectors that modern manufacturers love to use :( not just a simple hose barb and hose
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@chrisrlink, Don't think anything will come out of it, and yes, anyone will find a way around whatever is banned.
  • DinohScene @ DinohScene:
    disgusting! jankily bypass it
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Open Homebrew Channel exists.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Im bored
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@DinohScene, unfortunately since I don't have the space or tools to work on it at the moment I'm at the mercy of my mechanic to find the problems and solutions :(
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
He did half jokingly suggest looping the hoses to bypass the heater core but I'm like nah the car is still just a little too recent to be doing those kinds of fixes to it
  • DinohScene @ DinohScene:
speaking of the Wii, I should probably replace the clock batteries in mine

problem is if libogc is tainted pretty sure the entire dkp is too
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I rarely do this, just because it really isn't necessary to me personally. And also, the clock batteries in the Wii do last for quite a long while.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Never had leaky batteries.
  • chrisrlink @ chrisrlink:
yeah but nintendio never had a Cbomb problem 3 gens in a row
  • chrisrlink @ chrisrlink:
though i feel sony purposly did it to force the ps4/5 to update (since 3 is completely pwned it's irrelivant (until all of the psn for ps3 shuts down
  • chrisrlink @ chrisrlink:
lucly kiiwii and the others coded goldhen to bypass the cmos battery check
  • chrisrlink @ chrisrlink:
    luckly
  • chrisrlink @ chrisrlink:
i dread the day sony shuts down the psn servers for ps3 (no updates BD Keys and for those on ofw when the cmos battery dies on them well game over
  • chrisrlink @ chrisrlink:
this is why cfw/hacking is crucial less ewaste and you know some games might not get remastered
  • BlusterBong @ BlusterBong:
PS3's basically being treated like any other blu-ray player, just occasional updates to reup the bluray, the PSN store's stil breaking horribly last i checked
