Hacking just got r4i >.<

I got a r4i for my dsi, but when i installed the software and such...

it says fake card! Please return to retailer...

Is this problem fixable?

The card is right, the R4i is fake, so go back to where you bought it and get the Acekard 2i.

one of my friends had the same problem sorry but you need a new cart if you have a budhet get a acekard 2i and if you have a lot of money get am3i zero sorry but that problem cannot be fixd

Yes you shouldve researched a bit before buying your cart then you wouldve found out its fake and wouldnt have gotten it keep that in mind if your gonna buy a cart again

40 Euro for a fake.

Send it back and demand a refund. Seriously, flashcarts shouldn't cost that much, even with a microsd.

If you're not in any rush get an acekard from dealextreme as another poster mentioned. They're based in Asia but will ship worldwide. They also accept Paypal. Shipping is a tad slow though...

The guy which sold it reffered me to this site: www.mp3server.org (oh and probably the site is dutch) and he said i probably downloaded the wrong software, and the software would be on that site.
i don't know that site and i've got no idea if i can trust it

anyone recognises it?

Just forget about that card its fake and might damage your dsi so just focus on a new cart

My R4i-SDHC (red box) works flawlessly so far. Runs NDS and homebrew perfectly, and emulators nearly perfectly (best I've seen them run on a DS). There are lots of crap R4 cards out there now so you need to be cautious and make sure you're getting the right one, but I can confirm that this particular one works quite well in my DS Lite, and last I saw, it was down to $12 on DealExtreme.
