You didn't say if you got the firmware so im gonna take it you didn't,but I would get Akaio from the download section of this site,you can download some pretty kick ass skins from acekard.com and once you download it just put the main file,for example "Zelda Phantom Hourglass" folder into the UI folder in the Akaio firmware. Then start up,and there you go =D
Also you can download roms that you already own,you dont have to,but its illegal if you download game roms that you don't really own. Home brew is up to you, I "back up" games.
