new wii u with broken screen (will be fixed) how can i run homebrew and run backups? thanks for the help <3

Get a working gamepad,
a sufficiently large SD (the largest game fits in 23 GB, but of course you can install multiple titles in one action, and to make nand backups you need 2 GB more than the advertised size of your console),
an appropriately sized hard drive (you must dedicate it to the console, no multipartitions - I roll with 250 GB),
and optionally a compatible digital DS game you won't want to play for Haxchi/CBHC (7-10 dollars - but wait until later to buy it)
