I've had a little trouble with playing some games online, it's game specific issues rather than my connection as I have no problem with my laptop or Xbox 360 games so rather than recommend the best I will list the ones i have that work....
Cod
Monster hunter
Need for speed
Sonic racing
FIFA 13 (aka FIFA 12 on any other console)
Ones that don't work:
Assassins creed (works very rarely, issues have been widely reported but never resolved)
Nba 2k13 - never been able to even connect to 2k server (again well reported, prob never fixed due to low player base)
There are some great local mp games in
ZombiU
Mario
Nintendoland
I can't speak for mass effect 3 as already own it on 360 or tekken as I am too rubbish to even attempt online.
Hope this helps - expect a low player count on most games you play, apart from cod you'll be sat twiddling your thumbs a while before you get into a game most likely.
