Hacking Just got a PSTV and the memory card failed

I'm on FW 3.60 and the Memory card is an 8gb I tried formatting it over 30 times...nope its gone.


is there a way to install HENkaku using a usb or do I need SD2Vita? If so what verion should I order?

The pstv has 1gb of onboard memory, you didn't need the 8gb at all. As soon as it's installed using onboard memory, you can use a USB to install everything to. Mine ran on a 64gb SanDisk usb, games worked fine as did homebrew

Or even better, get an external HDD with Sata-USB adapter cable, since flash memory like USB or SD cards are not meant to be constantly read and written so a USB will die way faster and also more expensive.

You can install henkaku without the mem card, and set up flash drive

I manage to mod my pstv with the inturnal memory then I turned my usb into the main soruce..when I did that I had to reinstall vitashell ect. is that normal?

Yeah that's normal, it boots up the USB as the main drive now. Anything you installed on system memory you'll have to reinstall on USB

Better not do that with Henkaku ... Sony bans pretty quick!

make sure you install usbmc if you don't want the annoyance of mounting your flashdrive everytime you turn on your PSTV
