I just bought a ps3, but it haven't come with any games.
I'd like some suggestions of great RPG games for the PS3, the best ones.

Thank you!

Borderlands is kick ass! Me and my brother play it on co-op. Great First Person Shooter RPG... Like Fallout but better in my opinion.

Nice a 360. I recommend Uncharted something something... iunno. My friend tells me about it,

Uncharted Drake's Fortune. something like that, apparently, it is really good.
Ratchet and Clank series, I played em before, and are pretty fun.
Oblivion, my friend has it for 360, and it is fun!
Final Fantasy XIII, yeah. I saw the trailer, looks really good.

There's a few more than that smart-alec.

I was just going to copy and paste'em but there's too many.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps3/cat_48.html

Note: Some are JPN-only and some haven't been released in the US yet (White Knight Chronicles), and like Gamefaqs doesn't consider Borderlands a RPG even though I guess it has elements to it. So it's not a perfect list, but good enough for your purposes.

I've heard good things about Valkyria Chronicles (I bought it on word of mouth alone), Eternal Sonata , there are demos for both of these two on the PSN.

Fallout 3 is good but gets repetitious, Cross-Edge is a 2d throwback, but I've heard it has a interesting twist to it.

Check the list out, the reviews and such, but at least you have more choices than you might think, or that other people might allude too. Good Luck.

Oh I forgot, also there are PS1 RPG's you can d/l and play on the PS3, so there you go as well.

Cheers.

Demon's Souls is the best and deepest RPG on PS3. It's just extremely unforgiving and difficult at times, but very rewarding.

Metal Gear Solid 4.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time.
Burnout Paradise.

There are loads more....Nearly all PS3 exclusive are excellent games.

Someone bought one on another board I do 2 days ago and I made this post to him, same goes for you:

Seriously to the TC I'm with Epic, and he knows my tastes and they don't lean heavily on the FPS and I barely touch 3D fighters or racing games either. Sure it's easy to toss a Ridge Racer or a COD whatever the F in there, but variety is more fun.

I'll list stuff, you can research, but I think they'd be worth an effort to read up on.
- Uncharted 2 (and the original first so it makes more sense with returning characters)
- Dead Space(if you missed it on 360, doubt it though)
- Ratchet and Clank (old and then the new one)
- Little Big Planet
- inFamous
- Demon Souls
- Flower (PSN)
- Super Stardust (PSN)
- Loco Roco (PSN)
- PixelJunk 'series' (PSN)
- Everyday Shooter (PSN)
- Flow (PSN)
