Soooo I installed regionhax on my Wii U about a year ago by changing the value in system.xml from 2 to 119. Then I bricked my Internet browser by adding custom loading images. I thought it would fix if I factory reset it but it didn’t and my disc icon was gone! No thankfully bluubomb exists but I can’t get mocha running. Should I use cfw booter with an fw.img and change it back to 2 and reset again or will that cause problems?

The disc icon and I think maybe the wii icon will disappear if you delete the nnid, which you did with a factory reset, after doing region hax. Changing it back should fix it afaik.

Do i need to factory reset after changing?

I'm not sure, I've done region hax, and even though I can undo it, I just left it. I'm using cbhc too, so I have no desire to factory reset my system. I kept a copy of the original sys_prod.xml on my backup drives jut in case I ever needed it. it's pretty dangerous, because if you mess up the region, no apps will open iirc.
