Ok I have flashed many drives of all types. For lite-ons i used to do full MRA method. Now I just use a PMT along with my CK3.
Yesterday I came across my first lite-on that I could not obtain the key with PMT. I kept getting error "Phakey failed" even after the drive status changes to I think 0x52 but it is what it normally would be when phatkey extract works. I sent him home with no flash and told him I would give a discount if he brings another one. Now I realized about 20 minutes after he left that my ethernet cable was disconnected thinking back now could that have effected the process? Weird.
