Trying to confirm or deny some theories I have about drift, and need some data to assist in my search. If you can, vote in the poll. The results are open, so other people can use this for their research too.
 
Drift is inherent to the mechanical construction of such controllers.
They are sealed wel inside the joycon so dust and humidity don't play much of a role.
The intensity of the usage has imho the greatest impact.

The sealing does not seem that good, at least on my drifted stick. I disassembled it and found a decent amount of dust and dirt that reached the flexible PCB on the bottom.
