So I had rebug cfw 4.82 on my ps3 with a 60gb hdd and I tried to copy and paste over the drives contents but in the mix I hit format thinking it was right to do (can't remember why) anyways I tried to install ofw 4.82 and rebug 4.82 and neither will let me install (I've already tried several drives and they were fat32 with proper folder placement) Anyone know how I could fix this? I don't care if I have to reinstall eerything and lose any data. I was trying to transfer to a larger hdd so if that could be incorporated as well that'd be cool. I heard I could ftp the files to a new drive and then just switch them.Is that true?

I can only install via an updat pup, but I can't seem to get that to work.

So when I formatted the drive and after I put it back in it tells me to put in 4.82 or higher update data (i want 4.82 though). There's no way for me to load anything else sadly

The last time I swapped drives I couldn't install rebug straight away either. I had to use another CFW and then install rebug.

Or you should be able to install ofw and then use ps3xploit

Are ps3 ofw firmwares considered Warez? I looked for it but can't seem to find one that works
but what other cfw's would you reccomend to install in between?
