JAISPI - Read and Write to PS4 Flash?

JaiCrab, a Spanish developer, has recently released a tool for the Raspberry Pi that could possibly read/write to the PS4's flash memory!

Just in, Spanish developer JaiCrab has released a tool based on the Raspberry Pi to read and write from the PS4′s flash memory through the SPI protocol. I’m not sure if it’s a hoax but it seems quite legit as the news has spread to many other websites.

The tool has the ability to dump the flash onto an SD card, to write to the flash, and to clear the flash (not recommended without a proper backup of the flash – it would brick your PS4 and I doubt Sony would be willing to fix it)

EDIT:Looks like we have the first dev to dump the PS4 Flash memory! Though he took quite a few steps, and it definitely wasn't so user-friendly...

I've seen RasPi's done weirder things.

but keep in mind that just because we can do this, it does not mean that we can hack the ps4 so simply, we can dump and write the 3ds's nand, but we cannot (yet) use this to hack it etc

This is only the beginning, once they have the flash dumped and decripted they can have an idea of how to do something to run homebrew and the like, but since the PS4 is almost a standard PC I don't think they'll be interested on homebrew.
