Apple jailbreaked ipod touch update?

Is it possible for me to update my ipod to 4.2 without losing all my jailbreaked stuff?
I have an ipod touch 2nd gen.

That's your answer. You cannot update a jailbroken iPod touch without losing the jailbroken stuff. When you update, it removes the jailbreak. The jailbroken stuff only works with a jailbroken iPod.

You can use aptbackup to make a list of tweaks and Cydia apps that you installed, then backup your device in iTunes, upgrade, restore it from your backup, rejailbreak it, reinstall aptbackup and press restore (or something like that). This will only re-download the packages that you installed, so you won't get your files. Cracked apps go over to iTunes automatically because of Appsync, you just need to install it to transfer them back to your device.

And if I update will the saves of the apps i gained with jailbreaking stay or will they be gone 2?

Your purchases go over to iTunes automatically, and the saves are saved when you make a backup of your device (which, unless you disabled it, happens automatically)
