Im sure I am missing it and if I am, lo siento. But i have my ps4 9.00 jailbroken and wanted to know if there is a ps4 HDD viewer software or anyway to view a ps4 partitioned HDD on PC so i can transfer and install my games without having to use another HDD to install my games onto my ps4 external HDD...if that makes sense. From what I read in order for the ps4 to store and play games off of on an external hdd its formatted to a partition thats only viewable via ps4, and if you use your PC you can only use it if you repartition it, wiping everything. I know you can dump games, but I want to be able to view my installed games. Thanks.

No tool that I know of exists yet. The formatting that the ps4 uses is proprietary and can only be correctly written to by the ps4 OS

There's several different ones, but I like ps4remotepkgsender to install fake pkgs from PC.

But I'm a little unsure that's what you're asking for because you seem to be saying you just want to view installed games from PC?

There's an option to view the files that are on your PS4 via FTP using Filezilla. It's an option in the same place you hack your PS4 on the web browser, I just can't remember what it's called.

Please clarify exactly what you want to do because it's unclear to me. I think you just want to install games, if so you don't need to view the external hdd's partition just use ps4remotepkgsender (google it).

More or less I want the external HDD that I have my PS4 run backups off of to be viewable/editable on PC as well. Essentially to move backups to and from without having to need a second thumbdrive just to transport. I know theres a homebrew OTA transfer program you can use, seems like it may be an option to look at. In all honesty its not a big deal, but eliminates time hving to put a backup on a thumbdrive to plug into the ps4 and have it installed into the hdd and vice versa.

I understand the reason you want backups transfered TO the PS4, but I can't think of any logical reason you'd want them transferred back to PC? If you don't have the space on PS4 just delete the game and keep the fpkg on your PC so you can just install it again later.

Again ps4remotepkgsender can send fpkgs to your PS4 and that's all you really need to do.
