I've been using webman mod fan control at 70C on all of my ps3's before, and it worked well, but this method stopped working on my CECHC suddenly.
As soon as cell/rsx hit 63-65C, fan starts spinning at ~23%, but webman says that it is still 20%, but it is not.
What's really interesting is that after that it is impossible to make it run slower, it will be ~23% forever, even if cell/rsx temperatures about 55. Manual 20% through webman doesn't work too, it sounds like it tries to get 20%, but at the same moment comes back to 23%.
webman can control the fan, I can set max temperature on 60C,and it will behave as it should, but it looks like ps3 itself overrides control as soon as it gets to 63-65C.
