    Too long!

I'm worried that the game experience will be affected by that movie...

60 FPS 2D-only in wireless play? That has got to be smooth. :P

Nintendo, come on. 3D Hollywood movies, remember?

Also, why 2D only for multiplayer? Didn't this title claim 60FPS 3D?

I believe that's for the main game.

But seriously- choppy 3D online or smooth 2D online, I'll go with 2D.

I won't really go for this game though. Played too many fighters recently.

SF IV + Tekken = I won't miss my PSP that much haha

Good to know Iwata is changing his politic of "portable games", we're on 21 century! We need room for multimedia & stronger hardware to move code!

    *leaves happily from the topic*

well SFIV wasn't choppy as long as you had good internets, and 30FPS isn't exactly choppy, just half as fluid. i'll buy this though, mainly for the movie packaged. yes, i'll buy this to support the possibility of 3D movie releases.

also, i liked Harada san, if only for that VS. Ono video. ^_^

    (laughs harder)

It's a fundamental flaw in 3D technology. When you divert half of the frames to each eye, you also cut the light in half. This happens on the 3DS too, but they compensate by doubling the backlight. That's why the battery takes a hit in 3D mode.

    *snip snips ...
    lol
    erm you can't cut light.
    I took physics.
what actually happens is when the parrellex barrier is in place, the total light is split into strips, every other strip is aimed directly and super precisely to one eye only. This means each eye only sees approximately half the screen brightness because they are only seeing half of the screen for each eye instead of the whole screen for each eye.

I know thats what you meant though.

Hurr durr, I have to say everything in strictly scientifically accurate terms at all times.

What could I possibly have meant by "cut the light in half" that would have suggested a misunderstanding of physics? It was a clear simplification in the context of a colloquial discussion.
