I have finally decided to get the DS Fire Card from DealExtreme. It cost 42 bucks with 2gb nand memory. Thanks to everyone who helped me. I will be updating when it arrives.

Yeh mate get the scds1+1gb.

the n-card and clones are OK but they hardly have any features and it has a real PITA problem with corrupting save files with 'save write error' (shudder), which is get roundable, but still a huge PITA.

Don't get the SCDS, it has major issues with trimmed roms (most don't even work), so you can't fit as many roms on the microSD.
I'd get the Cyclo DS (or TTDS, just because it has gba/ram paks)

All my games work brilliently on my Supercard DS1 SDHC so far.... They're all trimmed, and I have about 100 games on it. The only game that doesn't work is puzzle quest.

CycloDS is the best flashcard. Which means you should buy it.

Oh God, at least get a card with expandable memory. It needs to have a decent community too or else you'll be out in the dark looking for support.

That is completely and utterly wrong. Almost every single rom I have is trimmed using NDStokyotrim and they work perfectly. Download play and all.
Maybe you just trimmed them wrong.
Once SCDS1 gets rid of the shitty GUI it will be the best card around IMO.
For now its just slightly lagging behind the CycloDS. The Cyclo is a lot more expensive though, so if oyu don't have that much money go for the SCDS1+1GB Kingston japanese made microSD.

I've never understood the point of trimming roms to begin with. With cards being in the 8GB range now, why would a person need to pinch ever last MB out to fit a couple more games on? I could go through my 100 games or so and pick maybe ten that I couldn't live without and be happy with those for the most part...

I never trim my roms, I remember I tried to trim one and it took a half hour or so. And thats the last time I trimmed.

Is this sarcasm? I hope so.
Why would it be, I just like to put the games on and go. It probably takes so long because my computer is a fat piece. But It doesn't bother me, If I run out of room, I delete a game I haven't played in awhile.

The reason I did not get any expandable memory is because my computer does not work well with memory cards. So that is why I got th fire card.

Thats not the case for everyone. Even though 8gb microSD's are available, its not liek everyone buys them
Also, some games have a ridiculious amount of padding. Some games trim more than 30MB. Thats a whole new game you can put on.

I guess it wasnt sarcasm. You must have an ancient computer. It takes me all of a couple seconds to trim any ROM. It takes your computer 30 minutes? What are you using? An Apple IIgs?
