Gaming itunes not working on my pc!!!

recently i reinstalled Windows xp professional on my pc (had vista before)
and then i tried to install itunes (the latest one), everything went gud but whenever i tried to open it, it doesn't load up but i can see it in the process windows..
any help? pls

try reinstalling it? maybe it just became corrupted

have you updated with any service packs ??

a lot of new programs require XP SP 2 or even SP 3 to run

maby try installing an older version from oldversion.com

maby an older version may work

I read on some computer websites that the new version (8?) has a lot of problems....Maybe this is one of them?
