Gaming itunes help

hi im having trouble with my itunes on my laptop when i try to open it, it does open but it freezes and will not responded at all i have waited 30min before i closed it. i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it it worked once but it not working now i need some help to fix this please help me it the latest itunes and my laptop is up to date according to my laptop

I would guess it's freezing because it's scanning your computer for media files to fill it's database with, maybe even converting them to AAC. Also, iTunes is very heavy on Windows and even my rather powerful over clocked computer often lags or crashes with it. Might have something to do with having around 300GB of media spread across 2 drives.
