Hacking iTouch DS cheat code for Final Fantasy IV does not work

I downloaded a cheat database for itouch ds and installed it correctly. ... i replaced the cheat.db in the itouch folder with the 6.15Mb cheat.db file i downloaded. then i set the cheat directory to the proper folder.

the cheat codes in the database work for all the games i have except for Final Fantasy IV (U).
itouch DS displays the cheat codes for FFIV(U), but after i check the codes i want activated, and then press A to activate them, the software declares "There are no cheat codes for this game !".

why is this happening? and how can this be solved? can anyone please help..

well..
maybe the game id is different from the one we have in the .dat

so i would recommend you to get a copy of r4cce
use the "..." function to check your game's id
use the Dup? function to see whether it matches the one in the .dat
if it doesn't then just change the game id accordingly and make a save
it shoul then appear for you

I am having a similar problem with a few other games too. I think this is an iTouch specific bug, though I am at a complete loss as to why the default cheat database it comes with in the firmware works and the Big cheat database doesn't.
