it safe to install the 3ds ambassador programme using cfw?

i know it is a dumb question but
i was able to download the ambassador programme.cia
but i saw people while starting the app it showed a notification written checking sd card...
wich for some reason worries me a lot.

It's a pointless install. It just gives you a home menu icon/banner; it alone doesn't allow you legit access to the Ambassador titles.

You can certainly do so without issue, but as mentioned, it accomplishes nothing. And you don't need it to install the official .cias from the ambassador program.
