Hacking Issue with a Sky3ds any help would be great!

Hi guys, so i just got me a Sky3ds (picked this one because i had my 3ds updated) and im running into a big issue, it seems that any eprom type game does not work at all, all i get is "there is nothing inserted into the game card slot", i have using a sandisk 32gb card and i have heard those work fine so i have no idea what is going on, i can get pokemon omega ruby to show up but even that does not play, it says this game cannot be started? any help would really be great, im totally out of ideas ...
