Mario Party 8

NTSC Wii. Converted game to PAL

Standard cables that came with Wii.

Works PERFECTLY. Loading time isn't a problem in this game!

Problems: Black/White

DVD-R Memorex

I REALLY appreciate you giving me that info, because I am currently downloading it, and I own it but sadly 3 months ago it died... Thank fully now I will have it again! Also what program and speed did you burn it at???

I just figured out something I didn't know. The game was black/white because I didn't have HD Cables. With HD Cables This game Works FLAWLESSLY. Loading is only 10 seconds which isn't really much of a problem. It takes 30 seconds to load the Opening cutscreen, which usually takes the longest!. Heck, Beats 3 min waiting on other games!

Burned at 2.4 With IMGburn.

It didn't boot. It's in this or the "Waninkoko's backup loader faq" thread. Too lazy to page through and I don't remember the specifics of media used but it didn't work.

Why hasnt anyone tested Brawl yet?
I have. Doesn't work, game loads up, can create a game save, but first at first game loading game just hangs. Had some success with games with "Green Screen" problems.

Mario Super Sluggers (NTSC) (Verbatim DVD-R) (x2.4) (HDTV)
- Does not work.
- Game hangs on green screen.

Mario Super Sluggers (WiiFrii: NTSC to PAL) (Verbatim DVD-R) (x2.4) (HDTV)
- Works.
- So far no problems.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (NTSC) (Verbatim DVD+DL) (x2.4) (HDTV)
- Game loads from Backup Loader.
- Game hangs after in-game loading sequence.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (WiiFrii: NTSC to PAL) (Verbatim DVD+DL) (x2.4) (HDTV)
- Game loads from Backup Loader.
- Game hangs after in-game loading sequence.

Oh tried that as well. If you Patch a Scrubbed Super Smash Bros. Brawl using 'backup-craetor' it increases the file size to 7+Gigs; so you will still need a DL disk.

BUT.. I didn't burn the game to test that out....... and I deleted the file. lol.. have to download it again to test out the scrubbed SSBB.
