Gaming ISO Loader and update question

I am on 5.50 Prome-4 which I followed from the sticky in the PSP subforum I have a PSP 1001. What iso loader should I use? Also how do I tell if im up to date and how do I tell if there is a update and what do I need to look for if its compatible.

You don't need an iso loader. You're up-to-date. You don't need to update.

If you have a PSP 100X then you are up to date with 5.50 Prome-4, you can do everything here and you don't need a ISO loader, you only put your ISOs in the ISO folder and launch them from the XMB without any problem.

The recent news of new firmwares are especifically for people that own a unhackeable PSP 200X, 300X or GO, they have to use the 6.20 TN or the 6.35 PRO cfw, and in the earliest releases of these cfw they needed ISO loaders to launch ISOs from the XMB.
