PS1/2 Iso Burning Help

Okay where to start...

I ripped the mega man Legends 2 ISO THAT I OWN at 1x

Cd Name: MEGAMAN_LEGENDS2
Reading Mode: RAW + Sub-96

And burn it to a CD cheap memorex cd's

Data Type: Playstation
Speed: 4X

And when i poped it into my PSX (using this as a test disc for when my mod chip arrives)

It goes straight to the music Player with 2 tracks

I thought PSX was supposed to show a finger saying only "real" games can be played

Model: SCPH 7501
ISO: Mega Man Legends 2

Will my PSX not show the msg or are the cd's I'm using just to crappy?

or what else am i doing wrong

Ok for one, what burner are you using?
What is the brand of your cd writer?
And finally, did you choose burn Image CD and not a music or data cd?

Sorry forgot to edit this post it was and worked perfectly with modchip

I Assumed it would of had to say "Please insert a play station CD-Rom"

But for fun
AOpen CRW5232/AAO PRO

And i used alchol 120% to burn

1. Download PowerIso, UltraISO, or MagicISO
2. Open any of those programs and click Create ISO from CD/DVD
3. Name it megaman.ISO and let it rip (takes 6 misn for PSX game)
4. You now have a 100% perfect ISO (if there are no scratches/errors)6
5. Open up imgburn www.imgburn.com and open the iso, pop in a cd-r (not an rw) and burn the iso with imgburn at 6x speed (and buy a verbatim cd-r, not a requirement)

6. if it dont work on ur modded PS1 try on a PSX emulator (must work on this)

NO i will not use that software I'll continue to use alcohol 120% Its the better software anyway

And also went to radio shack and got a spindle of 30 52x verbatim CD-r's works like a dream now
