Is your online password strong?

The best passwords are acronyms for phrases. Easy to remember, and they won't fail to a brute force attack.
Examples:
Code:
iiagdtd
aybabtu
ssuutb
coihnigiic

Can you figure out the phrases these correspond to?
Besides, most websites prevent people from brute forcing by locking your account if they get the password wrong too many times.

Probably not, but they're all weak.

I am confident, too. My password for Facebook and Ymail is hard as hell

This is a good read though

God damn it. I think that Password tester is broken. One of my previous passwords (I no longer use it as one of my others is way tougher + it has atleast 3 -4 more characters) is definitely not weak: 1Zx2Ds3ER...

2 lower case with the rest being capitals and numbers? Not to mention they're close together... sounds about right.

Believe me I only have to change this shit once a year. If it isn't broken don't fix it. Another example: G5;Fo3$r>. An absolutely evil password that a game of mine once assigned to me. I had nightmares for months.

besides Bruteforcers go in sequence, or random, and only test the most common possibilities first (last time I checked, mine isn't common). Which in my mind, both sequential and random have equal possibilities to find it.

While you may think your password for sites like GBAtemp or your hotmail/yahoo/gmail is strong, if your password has anything to do with those 10, then you have a crap password. Not if you add a shit ton of other stuff like capital letters and symbols.QUOTE(ShadowSoldier @ Dec 17 2010, 03:40 AM) Or maybe that nobody decided to hack GBAtemp at all?
Someone has before.

Edit: I love how you have this whole "I'm better than you" attitude to everyone.

Wasn't that JPH, or one of those damn flash sigs?

Someone here linked to that site before; one I've remembered would take 154 nonillion years (maxed out), evidently.

That's based on the speed of the computer and the type of hack. Results vary.

...Huh? Nobody wants to know what or anything if your passwords are strong. Frankly, I couldn't care less if your passwords are strong or not.

It's a trap!
trap.jpg

You input your password, then at the end of the week, your IP address along with your password is logged. Then the phisher takes your password and checks the most recent websites you have visited and then uses the passwords that you have imputed. BLAM! There goes your Facebook, Youtube, Runecape, World of Warcraft, Minecraft, and Tribal Wars accounts!
