Hello, I have two nintendo switches. Switch #1 will be on SXOS cfw(currently stock). Switch #2 is stock to play online. Here's what I want to do

Switch #1
1)will be updated to latest version without burning fuses using Raj's method and I'll have to leave it on autorcm permanently for the time being.
2)I'll then use checkpoint to edit a game save for something like monster hunter generations ultimate.
3) I'll have to connect online briefly while on SX OS cfw and pair the game save to my nintendo account
4) Go into settings while connected to internet and click "transfer the user and data to another switch" like in ofw(I'm not even sure if SX OS cfw has this option or if it will work on the cfw, can anyone confirm? Also do you need to be connected to internet or can I just connect both to the same wifi while blocking Nintendo dns to transfer?)

5)Switch #2 will receive the user data and the edited game save while switch #1 will have that user deleted and I'll just create a new decoy nintendo user on switch #1 in case switch #1 gets banned.

You can just run homebrew on your "stock" switch while in airplane mode and edit your own monster hunter save that way, doesn't carry imminent chance to ban like what you're suggesting does. Why do you want to go with such a convoluted route?

I don't want to run home brew or any cfw on my stock switch as I'm going to use it to play games online and I don't want any traces of 3rd party software on it. Even if it doesn't get banned immediately, there's always a chance I could get reported and banned that way and id rather not risk it.

I would rather do it the way I posted above because I don't care if my other switch with SX OS gets banned as I'm going to use that one for offline anyways. The way I posted above should eliminate any risks of console ban on my stock switch because it's just transferring my user data from my SX switch. It shouldn't be traceable.

I'd argue it could be traced because you paired the SX OS downloaded game to the Nintendo ID you want to put on your "clean" switch. Which, to me, seems a lot less safe than simply using homebrew in airplane mode. If you remove the SD card after using it, there isn't anything left on the system to be "traced" unlike pairing a game you do not own to a Nintendo ID on a completely separate switch and then moving it over on wifi. Blocking the update server DNS doesn't stop any data from being collected by Nintendo.

But, this is speculation on my part. What I can tell you is that I've been using homebrew menu on my switch for several months with no ban.

Uh. Who said anything about the game being downloaded? It wouldn't be possible playing it on my stock switch. It's be a legit cartridge. What id be downloading is probably a game save or id edit the game save and pair that to my nintendo id.

But that's pretty interesting. So homebrew is only saved to the SD card. Doesn't it require you to install it to the photo album and then you'd need checkpoint. Have you been using checkpoint as well? So what you're saying is I could install homebrew to the SD card and run it on my stock switch without cfw then just simply take out the SD card which would Uninstall it?

Any time that you run homebrew, you are running a risk of taking a ban on the console. if you wish to be 100% safe, don't run any unauthorized software

Yeah, it's a risk that's why I wanted to do it my way posted above. Maybe he's just lucky that he didn't get banned or maybe it'll happen eventually to him. Do you think there's any risk to my stock switch with the method I posted above?
