Running CFW ofc, was wondering if there is anyway to run it besides mission control which doesn't support the series controllers, I would prefer to not buy an adapter so is there any projects that do that?

No, Mission Control is the only project for wireless controllers. Sounds like it might support them eventually but not for now.

Mission Control will support them eventually. I have preliminary support for the Xbox One controller with the new LE firmware working, presumably the Series controller is the same/similar just with a different product id. Some more work is required before anything is release ready, but I expect some time in the next 1-2 months you might see basic LE support added.
