Homebrew Is there a way to know..

Guys yesterday i downloaded the latest Metroid: samus return from freeshop.

What i want to Know is: is there a way to check what region is? Because on freeshop showed 2 different flags, it showed the american flag and Korean flag.

Im trying to not play out of region games just for precaution.

Open FBI and go to Titles. Find Samus and it should show what region it is. If it says region free, then it goes off of what the system's language is.

That strikes me as being overcautious. The digital "region free" version IS the digital American version.

Woo thanks then, i was thinking region free is not normal maybe? Maybe they can see REGION FREE when im playing online or something.

But if is the american version well i leave it there

They'll see it's the region free/multi-region version, just like the legitimate players. It's not a telltale sign of anything.

In ROM properties, it shows metroid US cart having the US, South Korean, and Taiwan flags set so nothing out of the ordinary with what freeshop showed.
